The Club Story

There are groups of
people on the internet, Like the Sailing Spaders , and the TIGERS ,who are dedicated in
helping the Zone a better place to play spades or any other game
for that matter. We all adhere to the Zone Code of Conduct and encourage all our
club members to do the same. We all love to have fun and believe
me we do. Yet we also don't lose the competitive nature of the
game. I Have been a zone member for 2 years and I have see a lot
of things here. The thing that hurts me the most is when people
take a free site like the ZONE and manipulate the rating to SHOW,
NOT BE a high rated players. It is hard to improve your ratings
with all the excellent players out there. The clubs, IMHO, are
the pest thing going for the ZONE to help safe gard against this.
If we all stick together and play with one another we would never
have to worry about the ratings manipulaters. Oh, BTW- For those
of you who may not know what ratings manipulators are, they are
CHEATERS... they do several things to cheat. They will ZM their
partners, ICQ them, Tellephone Them, log on to 2 different
computers in the same room. The clubs try to give us an edge and
I am glad they are here. I rather play with a fellow club member
or any othe club Member and be satisfied at least like feeling I
got a fair game. Lets face it, Noboby's perfect. I haven't played
that many other club members yet, but I am hoping that will be
changing soon. Between the clubs, if everyone would log on we
could fill 3 rooms.
For the
most part, we all advertise "ALL WELCOME" and
will play with anyone. None of us will tolerate rude,
crude or offensive behavior of any kind.Most if not all the clubs
are family oriented and have children as young as 9 playing. So
If any of you like to play spades and want to Visit the Zone look
for any of the following clubs and we will be more than happy to
have you there.
